DAY 3 - CASTLE AND FORTS
Drive through small villages and towns to Cape Coast to visit the Cape Coast Castle which is a slave castle and has been designated as World Heritage monument UNESCO. In the castle you will visit the West African Historical Museum, auction halls, condemned cells, the dungeons and the ‘ gate of no return’.

DAY 4 - KAKUM NATIONAL PARK
Drive out of Elmina to Kakum National Park, at the park you will go on an adventure trail, a comprehensive guided tour through one of the remaining vestiges of the rain forest. You will experience the exciting canopy walkway suspended on tropical trees, the 1st of its kind in Africa to have a panoramic view of flora and fauna of the rain forest. Lunch will be at Hans Cottage and view crocodiles whilst you dine.
Walk with a guide through Elmina where you will interact with the locals and the fishermen as they prepare to go to sea.

DAY 5 - KUMASI
Depart driving through scenic village and towns to Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Kingdom. After lunch you will visit the Manhyia Palace which is the sit of the Ashantis. The tour will also take you to the Palace Museum which were used by successful Ashanti Royals. Next will be the Kejetia Open Market and the Cultural Center.

DAY 6 - CRAFT VILLAGES
The tour will take you to the specialized craft villages. Ahwia where will try our hands on carving, Ntonso where we will print some designs of our choice of the famous Adinkra, and Bonwire where you will join the craftsmen working on Kente the traditional royal clothing.

DAY 7 - KUMASI - ABURI
Depart Kumasi for Accra stopping over in Aburi Botanical Gardens to relax or go on a guided tour of the park which is the most popular in Ghana. The popular among them is the monkey pot tree.
Farewell dinner with Ghanaian families.
DAY 8 – DEPARTURE
Rest of the day is free for optional activities until transfer to airport for departure.
